Language & Literacy: Introducing Letter Sounds

In this book you are provided with 8 learning experiences that cater for childfren aged 2-5 years.

As children become aware of the wealth of text, they can develop the concept that letters form words & that they have meaning. To eventually become successful readers, they will need to first develop the ability to identify the different sounds that letters make and to then associate these sounds with oral and written words.

The experiences focus on helping children to develop an awareness of letters & their corresponding sounds through play.
